Lincoln Atheists is part of the Give to Lincoln Day annual fundraiser. Donations from now till May 26th will help Lincoln Atheists build a positive community for non-believers. Lincoln Community Foundation will match a percentage (probably around 10%) of money raised. Every bit helps.
Lincoln Atheists is calling on all good standing members for idea submissions for a billboard we are going to fund later this summer. You can submit any idea as long as you are a member in good standing and will also to have an opportunity to vote on which idea(s) LA will select. Keep in mind brevity and nothing outwardly offensive-submissions can be as simple as slogan ideas or a full PDF with artwork. Be creative, be thought provoking, and be mindful of LA's role in the community.
Lincoln Atheists Spring Picnic

Playground, basketball and tennis court, skate park, bike trail, and disc golf course. So bring the family and join us 11 am at Tierra Park. *Bring your own picnic. Food will not be provided.

Lincoln Atheists started sending newsletters 6 months ago. While it hasn't always been consistent the feedback has been positive. Starting the newsletter we grouped all new members into the monthly subscription. Lincoln Atheists offers Biannual and Annual subscriptions for those which would prefer fewer newsletters. Surprisingly everyone has chosen to stay with the monthly subscription. Even non-members have signed up to receive newsletters.
Since November, we have grown and done some great stuff moving forward in growing Lincoln Atheists.
Secular Parenting of Lincoln formed providing child-focused events to attend with your children and support for parents raising children in a believer-centric world.
Our Fall and Spring roadside cleanup have become more and more efficient with the help of more volunteers. There is even talk about starting later because we are finishing before Raymono's is open for lunch.
